Let me tell you a story .
I’ve said to a few cherished people in the past, “I don’t care what we do, I just want to be with you.” I’m learning God says that to me, too, every single day.
I wrote a love letter to God a few days ago, and I wanted to share it. And boy, did God get my attention last week. Story time;)
What God would say if He could send a love letter to you (what He whispers over me when I feel alone).
This picture reminded me of what it means to be a servant of God, building HIS kingdom over MY empire. Because success looks a little different as a Christian.
I struggle with imposter’s syndrome big-time. But God reminded me of a Bible story this week to battle that mindset, and it hit me like a ton of bricks:
I wrote a letter to my (potential) future husband, and in it I included what God has taught me are the qualities of a godly man ~ and what I should work on in the waiting myself.
Life is all over the place right now. But that’s what life is. And to trap it in a box the size of a blog post would be wrong.
So here are all the little things God has taught me this week (along with some goofy moments with Lily;)
This summer, I had this moment where it just hit me how awful and unworthy I am. I was disgusted with myself.
But never before have I felt so astonished by God’s love for us. He knows us, AND He loves us. That’s crazy.
How a conversation with a stranger at a coffee shop reminded me of my greatest treasure–and how far God has brought me.
