God’s love doesn’t make sense. Here’s why.

This weekend, we celebrate freedom. But I think America’s definition of freedom is quite different from Jesus’s definition. And I think we need to pay attention to the difference.
I used to be embarrassed to admit I’ve been on JV all four years of high school.
But now I see what God’s plan was from the beginning. And I’m confident now: God makes beautiful things, even out of us.
Matthew 25:23 says, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
I want to live for the eternal reward like that. I want to reach heaven and hear my Father, best friend, lover, king, and God say well done.
A lot of things are changing, and it can be scary. But Jesus’s love for you isn’t one of them. And this allows you to step into this next season fearlessly and confidently, because you are tethered to the unchanging love of your savior.
